Please visit any of our four libraries to shop in the Library Shop, which has great prices on gently used books, magazines, and media. Volunteer @ Your Library
Volunteers are an essential part of our daily operations. If you are interested in volunteering your time and talents, we would love to hear from you. Volunteer applications are available at each of our libraries. You may also view current opportunities for adults and teens.

Join the Friends!
The Friends of the Scottsdale Public Library, founded in the 1950s and re-energized in the 1980s, is a nonprofit, all-volunteer community organization whose 500-plus members support Scottsdale’s public library system through a variety of awareness-building and fund-raising activities. Money raised by the Friends funds a variety of public programs at the four Scottsdale libraries, focusing on youth. Friends-funded programs are much needed, but not covered in current, or future, City of Scottsdale library budgets.

Donation of Materials
Bring us your used books, magazines, videos, tapes, CDs, books on tape, and DVDs. Your donations help us grow! When a donation is not added to the library's collection, it may be sent to the Library Shop, the library's gift and used book sale area.  (Donation Guidelines)

Gift Announcements and Memorials
Celebrate a birthdays or simply say thank you. Gift announcements are availabe for any amount of $25 or more. We will mark the gift with a bookplate naming your special honoree, and you receive a parchment Gift Announcement to let them know that a book has been purchased in their honor.  A memorial gift enriches the lives of those who use the library and is a lasting and thoughtful way to honor a loved one. Gifts of money or resources may be dedicated to the memory of a special person. You may use our online form for your gift announcement or memorial donation.
